Jim Chancellor is a 57-year-old father of three. He is a decorated Vietnam Veteran who received a Purple Heart and heroism medal for valor during his service as a door gunner/crew chief with the 119th Assault Helicopter Company in South Vietnam from 1969 to 1970.

Since returning from Vietnam, Jim has dedicated his life to veterans. Over the past years, he has served as president of many veterans organizations. In 1970, he organized and participated in a 50 mile walk for the P.O.W. families of Indiana. During the 1980s and 1990s, he was involved in the construction and maintenance of many new and existing veteran memorials throughout Northwest Indiana. He also speaks to high school and college students about Post Traumatic Stress and how war affects the warrior. These hard earned insights earn him the respect of all audiences.

In 1982, Jim designed the Vietnam Veterans Ring. The ring is worn and endorsed by retired Army General William Westmoreland and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Sammy Davis and was requested by the late great Bob Hope. (See testimonials)

Jim's hard work, dedication, and high energy level continues today as he lectures at high schools and colleges on Post Traumatic Stress hoping to educate today's youth, who could be tomorrow's decision makers, on the total price of war. (See PTSD) Having a professional style he has been featured on the same agenda as President Ronald Regan, Colin Powell, Vice President Al Gore, and Ross Perot. Athletic in appearance, spontaneous, and well educated on the issues, Jim is an excellent interview.

In the mid 1990s, Jim expanded his business to include all combat veterans from all wars. When asked what prompted him to create rings for all veterans, he said, "Combat veterans all share a similar bond. It doesn't matter if you were in Pearl Harbor, Ichon Korea, the jungles of Vietnam, or the deserts of Iraq, we are all the same." These rings worn by combat veterans proudly state, "I know, I understand and I care." I know about war because I have been there, I understand the answers to some of the questions we have all searched for, and I truly care about you and your family. I want these rings to be a silent symbol of these emotions and the support that each veteran gives each other.
