I've been coaching high school sports for the past 28 years, the past 18 as a varsity softball coach. Jim has been with me the last 8 of those years and I can't imagine how I got through the first 20 years without him. Jim Chancellor is the ultimate "team player." He understands the role that he plays, he is always prepared, considerate, and one of the hardest workers I know.

Jim Chancellor has a wonderful relationship with the players that he and I coach together. The players have a great respect for Jim because of his background, his knowledge both about the game and life itself, and because of his genuine concern for their wellbeing. I consider Jim Chancellor one of my best friends and one of the finest men I've known.
